Obasanjo Library

The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, is a historic and multi-faceted national archive, museum, and tourist center dedicated to preserving the life, leadership, and legacy of Nigeria's former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo

Obasanjo Library
"Modeled after the American presidential library system, the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library is much more than a conventional library. Set across a sprawling 32-hectare complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, it serves as an interactive museum, national archive, and leisure resort. The facility houses thousands of rare artifacts, personal documents, presidential memorabilia, and exhibits chronicling Obasanjo’s journey from his humble beginnings and military career to his time in prison and subsequent leadership as a civilian president. Beyond the museum, the complex boasts a wildlife zoo, an amphitheater, a resort hotel, and various developmental and cultural institutes, making it a vibrant hub for education, history, and tourism."
